Painted Rocks
Fern found these rocks and painted them for her Fairy Garden. I usually don’t bring out the acrylic paint for my toddler, but I wanted the paint to not wash off the rocks, so I kept an extra eye on her and had a bucket of soapy water and a cloth at the ready.
I gave her a small brush and made sure I didn’t put too much paint on the tupperware lid and topped up when she needed. I painted a rock too so it was a shared experience and guided her how to do some dots with the back of the brush.
She LOVES painting, and it’s always hard to take the paints away, but Eco Glitter to the rescue! She sprinkled the rocks with glee, and then left them out to dry and later that day she popped them in her fairy garden as stepping stones. She was pretty proud of them.
